Open extension courses have limited seating, and are available to ALL students, on a first come, first serve basis. I understand that only courses required for a student's degree can be requested. Students may not request an extension for an elective course unless there is no other elective available for the student to take. I understand that a $100 fee in addition to tuition will be added to my account. I understand that extension courses taken in the summer semester cannot be combined with credits in the fall or spring semesters to create a 12-16 credit discount. I understand that if this request is for permission to complete a Prior Learning Assessment (PLA) for a course, that the normal $100 extension request fee is waived and that rather a fee of $250 must be paid for each PLA before it will be evaluated. I understand that extension course requests and PLA requests are not guaranteed to be approved. I understand that I must be cleared by the Financial Department before my Extension Request is officially approved. Δ
