Before jumping into my professional background, a little about me personally. My wife, Claire, and I have been married since Leap Day of 2020, and reside in Durham, NC (go Duke!) with our Bernedoodle, Remi (pictures can be supplied upon request!). I have been living here for a few years now, and Claire moved here after we got married and after finishing her graduate work at Wake Forest University. She works as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist at the Duke University Hospital, which is technical jargon for the person you really want to make friends with should you ever have surgery! Both Claire and I are graduates of Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC, and interestingly enough, we did not know each other during our time there, though our time overlapped! Claire graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2015, and I with a Business Administration (Finance) undergraduate degree (2014), and a Communication graduate degree (2016). I followed Claire’s footsteps to Wake Forest University, and completed my MBA there earlier this year. Monday through Friday from approximately 7am to 7pm, I work as the Operations Manager for Planworx Architecture. In that role, I interact with all of the topics I have the privilege of teaching here at VBC, and I am excited to share some real-life applications with you throughout the courses!
