Dr. Fred Christian was saved at the Carbondale Baptist Church in Cannelton, West Virginia in February of 1978. He was licensed to preach by the church on March 23, 1981 and later ordained on January 5, 1985. Since that time he has served as Senior Pastor of three different Baptist churches in West Virginia. Brother Christian did his undergraduate work at the West Virginia Institute of Technology in Montgomery, West Virginia and Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia. He also holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Ministry degree from Temple Baptist Seminary in Chattanooga, Tennessee and a Doctor of Philosophy in Biblical Studies from Louisiana Baptist University in Shreveport, Louisiana. He taught Bible for 5 years at the Fair Haven Christian High School in Charleston, West Virginia. He has also served as adjunct faculty at Atlantic Baptist Bible College in Chester, Virginia, Global Bible University in Matagalpa Nicaragua, West Virginia University Institute of Technology in Montgomery West Virginia, West Virginia State University in Institute, West Virginia, and The University of Charleston in Charleston, West Virginia. In addition to preaching and teaching he also serves as the Administrator of the Teays Valley School of the Bible in Hurricane, West Virginia, is a member of the Board of Directors at Veritas Baptist College in Fredericksburg, Virginia, and is currently serving as the Academic Dean of Global Bible University, a ministry of Project 14 Global Missions which has its offices in Knightdale, North Carolina.
