Lisa Joyner is a highly experienced educator and faculty member at Veritas Baptist College since 2017, where she has served as Chair of the Christian Education Department and Director of the Doctor of Education program. She holds a Doctor of Education (EdD) in Curriculum and Instruction from Liberty University and a Master’s degree in Cross Categorical Special Education from Regent University. Her background includes 10 years as Director of the Specialized Learning Center at Friendship Christian School, one year as a special education teacher and case manager in Wake County Public Schools, and 10 years teaching high school English and history at Great Hope Baptist School. Lisa is a noted speaker at Christian school conventions, an instructor of professional development courses, and has been published in the Journal for Christian Education. She is passionate about expanding special education services in Christian schools and developing well-rounded experiences for all students.
