Tim White was born in Tennessee but grew up in North Carolina. He attended church his entire life because he had no choice. His mother used to say, “Every time the hinges of the church doors squeak, we are going to be there.” Tim White was saved at church at the age of 18. He attended Piedmont International University from 1973 to 78. During his last two years at Piedmont, he pastored Hope Chapel Baptist Church. In his senior year, Tim won the Lehman Strauss Expository Preaching Award. Tim has pastored for over 20 years, preached revivals, and participated in Missions Conferences. He started a new church plant in Archdale, NC in 2013. In 1994, Tim started teaching at Piedmont International University as an adjunct and went full-time in 1996. He has served on the Board of Trustees, taught in the Distant Education at Piedmont International University, and taught in Egypt and Bangladesh. He was Dean of the Alford School of Ministry for three years. Dr. White married Becky Bender in 1978.
