Scholarship Application 2022-2023

Veritas Baptist College is among the nation’s most affordable Bible colleges. Our high-quality ministry programs provide training that allows people to study and earn a degree while remaining in their communities and active in their local churches. We know that cost is an important part of your decision in choosing a college, so we try to keep our costs low. The total of federal grants and scholarships cannot exceed the cost of actual tuition. If the combined aid in these categories exceeds the cost of tuition, Federal Aid will post first and then VBC scholarships will be reduced/applied accordingly. Awards are based on FAFSA and scholarship application results. The Scholarship Application submission deadline is one week before the start of each module.

Missionary Scholarship–FBC*
I am a missionary (or missionary spouse) supported monthly by Faith Baptist Church in Fredericksburg, VA. (FBC missionaries are eligible to receive a full-tuition scholarship for one course at Veritas Baptist College each semester.) Undergraduate students must apply for Pell Grant using FAFSA and will receive a scholarship for the remaining tuition amount. Graduate students are not required to complete a FAFSA to receive the scholarship.

Terms of Agreement
I agree to the following terms:*
- I understand that I must complete a current FAFSA before scholarships are assessed (undergraduates).
- I understand that the order of aid applied is Pell grant, VBC scholarships, then loans. I understand refunds will not be given as a result of a scholarship.
- I understand that I must maintain Satisfactory Academic Progress as outlined in the college catalog to receive aid or scholarships.
- I understand that dropping below a term GPA of 2.0 for undergraduate level or 3.0 for graduate level may forfeit any future scholarships.
- I understand that withdrawing from a course(s) after drop/add may forfeit future scholarships for that course(s).
- I understand that students can only receive one scholarship per semester.
- I understand that the remaining balance due after all aid has been applied is my responsibility.
- I understand that the Scholarship Application deadline is August 1.
- I understand that my verification letter (if applicable) must be submitted before the scholarship will be processed.
