ASSOCIATE OF CHRISTIAN EDUCATION
This program, consisting of elementary and secondary tracks, is designed to prepare men and women to teach students in a Christian school classroom. The course of study emphasizes the philosophy and methodology of Christian education and introduces the student to a wide range of strategies to plan instruction, prepare instructional materials, and teach effectively in a Christian school. This program does not lead to licensure for teaching in public school systems.
Early Childhood Specialization
The Associate of Christian Early Childhood Education program is designed to prepare students to work in a preschool setting and perform their duties with knowledge, expertise, and warm-hearted service. Semester hours required in each category are as follows:
