Academic Advising Team Qualifications

    • Have a basic understanding of satisfactory academic progress rules for financial aid
    • Oversee student advising
    • Oversee student advising regarding course registration and program completion
    • Plan, organize, and direct the processes and operation of the registration, admissions, and student records functions; interpret and apply federal and state mandated guidelines
    • Develop and administer policies pertaining to the overall student record keeping function of the College including class rosters, student applications, permanent records, transcripts, credits, grading records, and withdrawal forms
    • Oversee security and confidentiality of student records
    • Oversee approval of transfer of credits
    • Approve transcript requests
    • Verify student enrollment as required
    • Provide information for students with disabilities
